Plagiarism Policy

The International Journal of AI, Engineering and Management Studies (IJAIEMS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. The journal has a zero-tolerance approach toward plagiarism and any form of research misconduct. Authors are expected to submit original work that accurately acknowledges the contributions of other researchers through appropriate citations and references.

Originality of Manuscripts

All manuscripts submitted to the journal must represent the original work of the author(s). Submissions must not have been previously published, submitted simultaneously to another journal, or contain substantial portions of copyrighted or published material without proper permission and acknowledgement.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all sources of information, data, figures, tables, images, and ideas obtained from other publications are appropriately cited in accordance with accepted scholarly practices.

Similarity Check

Every manuscript submitted to the journal may be screened using plagiarism detection software before being sent for peer review. The similarity report is evaluated by the editorial office to identify potential issues relating to plagiarism, excessive text overlap, duplicate publication, or improper citation.

A similarity percentage alone does not determine the editorial decision. The editorial team carefully evaluates the nature, source, and context of any overlapping text before taking appropriate action.

Types of Plagiarism

The journal considers the following practices to be unacceptable:

·         Copying text, figures, tables, or ideas without proper attribution.

·         Self-plagiarism or redundant publication.

·         Duplicate submission or duplicate publication.

·         Inappropriate paraphrasing without citation.

·         Fabrication or falsification of references.

·         Misappropriation of another person's intellectual work.

Editorial Action

If plagiarism or unethical text overlap is identified before publication, the manuscript may be returned to the authors for clarification or revision, or rejected depending on the seriousness of the issue.

If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal may publish a correction, issue a retraction, or take other appropriate editorial actions to protect the integrity of the scholarly record.

Author Responsibility

Authors are solely responsible for the originality of their submitted work. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is original, properly referenced, and complies with the journal's ethical publishing standards. Any breach of this policy may result in editorial action in accordance with the journal's publication ethics procedures.
