Peer Review Policy
The International Journal of AI, Engineering and Management Studies (IJAIEMS) is committed to publishing high-quality scholarly research through a fair, transparent, and rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process. The peer review system plays a vital role in maintaining the academic quality, originality, and integrity of all published articles.
The journal evaluates all submitted manuscripts based on their originality, scientific quality, methodological soundness, ethical standards, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope. Editorial decisions are made solely on academic merit without discrimination based on nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, race, religion, or political beliefs.
Double-Blind Peer Review
IJAIEMS follows a Double-Blind Peer Review model in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process. Authors are requested to remove identifying information from the manuscript before submission to ensure an unbiased evaluation.
Each manuscript is reviewed independently by qualified subject experts with relevant academic or professional expertise. Reviewer comments and recommendations assist the Editorial Board in making informed publication decisions.
Initial Editorial Assessment
Upon submission, every manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening. During this stage, the editorial office verifies:
· Compliance with the journal's submission guidelines.
· Relevance to the journal's aims and scope.
· Completeness of the submitted files and metadata.
· Basic quality of language and presentation.
· Compliance with publication ethics and plagiarism requirements.
Manuscripts that do not satisfy these requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or declined before peer review.
Reviewer Evaluation
Reviewers are requested to evaluate manuscripts objectively and provide constructive, evidence-based comments. Their assessment generally considers:
· Originality and novelty of the research.
· Scientific and technical quality.
· Research methodology and data analysis.
· Clarity of writing and organization.
· Accuracy of references and citations.
· Significance and contribution to the field.
· Ethical compliance, where applicable.
Reviewers are encouraged to provide recommendations that help authors improve the quality of their work.
Editorial Decision
After considering the reviewers' reports and the editorial assessment, the Editor may reach one of the following decisions:
· Accept without revision
· Accept with minor revisions
· Major revisions required
· Reject and encourage resubmission after substantial improvement
· Reject
The Editor's decision is final and is based on the overall academic quality and suitability of the manuscript for publication.
Confidentiality
All manuscripts received by the journal are treated as confidential documents. Editors and reviewers shall not disclose, discuss, or use unpublished information obtained during the review process for personal or professional advantage. Manuscripts are shared only with individuals directly involved in the editorial and peer review process.
Conflict of Interest
Editors and reviewers must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest before participating in the review process. Individuals with conflicts that could influence their judgment will not be assigned to review or make editorial decisions on the manuscript.
Review Timeline
The journal makes every effort to complete the peer review process in a timely manner. While review times may vary depending on the availability of reviewers and the complexity of the manuscript, authors are kept informed of significant updates throughout the editorial process.
Ethical Peer Review
Reviewers are expected to maintain professional conduct, provide respectful and constructive feedback, and evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit. Personal criticism of authors is inappropriate. Any suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, or other ethical concerns identified during review should be reported confidentially to the Editor.
Commitment to Quality
The International Journal of AI, Engineering and Management Studies is committed to maintaining a fair, impartial, and transparent peer review system that supports high-quality scholarly communication. Through rigorous editorial assessment and independent expert review, the journal strives to publish reliable, ethical, and impactful research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge across its multidisciplinary scope.
