Abstract

Healthcare digitalization has significantly improved the management of patient information and financial operations. However, the increasing volume of electronic clinical records and healthcare transactions has introduced challenges related to data security, privacy breaches, unauthorized access, and financial fraud. Traditional centralized healthcare databases are vulnerable to cyberattacks and often lack transparency, interoperability, and efficient data-sharing mechanisms. To address these issues, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have emerged as promising technologies for secure and intelligent healthcare management.

This study proposes an integrated framework that combines Blockchain technology with AI to enhance the security of clinical records and optimize healthcare financial management. Blockchain provides a decentralized and immutable ledger that ensures data integrity, transparency, and secure access control, while AI enables predictive analytics, fraud detection, decision support, and financial forecasting. The proposed methodology includes healthcare data collection, preprocessing, AI-based analysis, blockchain-enabled storage, smart contract validation, and secure financial transaction management.

The results demonstrate that the integration of Blockchain and AI improves data security, reduces fraudulent activities, enhances the accuracy of financial decision-making, and streamlines insurance claim processing. In addition, the framework promotes transparency, accountability, and trust among healthcare stakeholders. The study concludes that the combined use of Blockchain and AI can transform healthcare information systems by providing a secure, efficient, and intelligent platform for managing clinical records and healthcare finances. This approach supports the development of next-generation digital healthcare ecosystems and contributes to improved healthcare service delivery.
