JOURNAL POLICIES

The International Journal of Clinical and Medical Sciences (IJCMS) is dedicated to publishing high-quality, original research that contributes to the advancement of clinical and medical knowledge. All submitted manuscripts must align with the journal’s scope and demonstrate scientific rigor, relevance, and innovation. The editorial team ensures a fair and transparent evaluation process.

Peer Review Policy

IJCMS follows a double-blind peer review process to maintain objectivity and quality. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure unbiased assessment, and final decisions are based on reviewer feedback and editorial judgment.

Open Access Policy

The journal operates under a fully open-access model, allowing unrestricted access to all published content. Readers can freely read, download, and share articles without subscription fees, promoting wider dissemination of scientific knowledge.

Publication Ethics

IJCMS strictly adheres to ethical publishing standards. The journal prohibits plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and any form of unethical research practice. Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and proper citation of all sources.

Plagiarism Policy

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts with a similarity index above acceptable limits (generally 10–15%) may be rejected or returned for revision. Ethical violations may lead to rejection or further action.

Authorship Criteria

Authorship should reflect significant contributions to the research, including study design, data analysis, manuscript drafting, and final approval. All authors must consent to the submission and publication of the manuscript.

Conflict of Interest

Authors are required to disclose any financial, personal, or institutional conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their research.

Copyright & Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right to publish and distribute the content. Articles are typically published under an open-access license, allowing reuse with proper attribution.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

The journal may charge an Article Processing Fee after manuscript acceptance. Authors are advised to clarify all details before making payment. Once paid, the fee is non-refundable.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy

Authors may withdraw their manuscript before publication. However, withdrawal after publication is not permitted. Any fees paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Correction & Retraction Policy

If errors are identified after publication, the journal will issue corrections. In cases of serious ethical concerns or misconduct, the article may be retracted.

Indexing Disclaimer

The journal aims to be indexed in recognized databases; however, indexing is not guaranteed. Authors are encouraged to verify indexing status independently.

Privacy Statement

All personal information provided by authors and reviewers is kept strictly confidential and is used only for journal-related purposes.

Submission Policy

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submissions should follow the journal’s formatting guidelines and be submitted through the official submission system.
